this age of sexual freedom...everyone ought to be happy, fulfilled and living in bliss...right? The reality is they are not, because free sex is never free. More and more people who thought sex in the city, country and backseat would bring them their utopia are now facing extreme emptiness, guilt, shame, disease, disconnection and disillusionment.

Hollywood lied to them and they are hurt and confused. God invented sex and His plan is the one that brings freedom, joy, pleasure, intimacy and fulfillment.

In this forum, let's discuss the issues brought up in the recent message series by Pastor Jeff Jones: "Sex and the City".

Wow.. everyone's jumping in on this topic. I just wanted to say that this has been a great message that I hope some "young adults" find themselves sitting in on. What a confusing time for teenagers and preteens. They need to hear this message from more than just one source. They need to hear it from school, parents, churches, and even their friends. Well said Stephanie! My oldest daughter was a little hesitant to attend this series, thinking it would be too "adult" but my husband & I encouraged her to go. These messages have opened the door for some great discussion at home and really helped to solidify her faith in God's will for her future in marriage.
