My son will probably go to Dix St. eventually, since we only live a few blocks away! He is a little young for school though, he's gotta get walking and potty training down first!

My boys go to Dix Street as well. Dylan is in Kindergarten, Nate is in second grade and Steve is in 5th grade. I grew up in Allegan and my husband went to Otsego. We haven't been to VFC in a while but want to start coming again. We used to go on Saturday nights but my husband's schedule has changed so we will do Sunday mornings soon.

I grew up in Allegan. Graduated from Hopkins High School class of 2000. I use to live in Dorr Township.

I have been going to VFC for a little over two years now. I just recently started going regularly. It helps that I work 3rd shift on Saturday nights in downtown Kalamazoo, so I can just head over for the 9 AM service, though just lately I've been going to Getting a Grip 101 at 9a and by the time that is over I don't have enough energy to make it to church!

We have been going as long as we've been in MI, just over 2 years... Learned about the church before I came and went right away. My son Christopher was baptized in feb as well along with many others that have been coming to the church. Someone who has worked for my husband for years got baptized that day too. Very exciting... We dedicated our kids years ago when we first came to the Lord and they were kind of old, but we wanted to do it anyway. I don't work since I have moved here and that's okay. I have seven kids. Most of them grown and out of the house now but for years I didn't work. I became a homebound instructor for the public schools in NJ and that was part time when I could do it and the pay was fantastic, but they don't have that here. So I have Christopher 7 and Vinny 18 still home and enjoying some quiet! Would love to hear your testimony!

well we have been going for about a year, we got baptized in February, and did the child dedication this month, where do you work?

I know working and being a mom must be very hard. And on top of that you have to be with everyone else's kids all day and than still have something left by the end of the day for your own:) I am sorry that you didn't make it to church. It was great as usual:) Are you as new to VFC as I am? Did you get saved there?

I do teach in allegan, Pine trails elementary, young 5s :) I have turned in the paper to work at the information center, but havnt done it yet, Its really hard with my kids cuz we are soo busy lately, we didnt even make it to church this weekend :(
