I am so excited to be taking this next set of grip classes...I have been going to the church for a couple of years now, off and on and the Holy Spirit has really been pushing me to get more involved!!
My family is new to the church and I am so glad to be here. One day while on BJM online I was watching a message and you spoke about the "prayer closet." My daughter happened to sit down and start watching and I did not say anything. A few days later she said, "Mommy remember when that lady was talking about a prayer closet?" She said, "My prayer closet is my room and I close my door so noone can hear me." She said, "First I pray in english and then in something else." I am so glad to be at a church where that is natural and she does not have to feel awkward. Prayer is emphasized and what we are teaching her at home is reinforced in church.
Praise the Lord for the gracing you with an amazing ability to teach. I love the Grip Basics class, and look forward to learning how to "yield" this week. Thank you Beth for your spirit of excellence!

Beth,
I just wanted to tell you that after the Easter service on Sat, my fam and I all went to McDonalds and wore our 3D glasses!! Then we wore them into Hardines! We got quite the reactions.
Beth,
I've been watching the sermons online during my breaks at work and the last sermon (Get Set to Get Wet) got me so fired up!! I was sending rain all over! Praise God for this church and your ministry!
Beth:
That was AWESOME last night! I’ve never been involved in something like that – corporate prayer. It was not one person leading prayer that many not even engage in - it was ALL of us. To be surrounded by so many people that loves the Lord! I was so thankful to see how much our KFVC community cares about others. I heard it last night in each and everyone’s prayers - to use this new building and it’s teachings to take as many people to heaven with them as they can. I have learned one of the most important lessons at KVFC and that is the most wonderful thing in this life is to see souls being born into the kingdom of God.
God commanded us to “Go into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature” (Mark 16:15). We have a biblical command to tell others about Jesus! When I was first saved I wondered why nobody had told me about Jesus sooner! He was in the house last night – that’s for sure.
I had to jump into the Bible as soon as I got home to do more research on Corporate Prayer. One of the reasons that the early church grew, in spite of persecution, (and our new church got enough of that huh?) was that they prayed together. How powerful that can be and we deposited TONS of prayers last night. WOW
KVFC has changed my life – it has stirred me up to witness for the Lord and God has richly blessed me because of that. Each day has been new and challenging. I have not stopped even ONE day in the past year since I’ve started attending services, classes, small groups and much more including fellowship within the church community.
I learned so much in your last series about prayer and last night was just the finality. I’m so grateful to part of the journey to the new building – my NEW neighbors! Thanks for the tours and it is going to be a spectacular place of worship when completed. It already was last night!
I encourage anyone who missed last night to jump on in and attend any of this weeks long engaged corporate prayer nights. What an awesome experience to be part of this journey.
I so appreciate the Godly woman example you set to all around you. For my teen boys to even be able to sit and actually listen to a service and understand it, is thrilling for me. You recently met my young daughter, Holly, she is the one that wants to become a pastor when she grows up. Thought I would share this with you. She has been practicing reading scripture with a kareoke microphone. She already knows her OT books in order and better than me and is now working on NT. God bless.
