I am currently working full time in a job I love. I am going to school full time to earn my Bachelor’s degree in Family Education, and I am about to start internship for my bachelor's degree. I am very excited about the opprotunites God has given me and I look forward to learning more as I grow in HIm. I keep very busy between family, friends, school and work.

At 2:07pm on March 15, 2009, Mindy Deuel said…: Hi, I'm really sorry Ben behaved the way he did in class. We ended up leaving the service. I made him lay down after lunch and he fell asleep. His anger is only growing. He has tantrum now too. I'm at a loss of what to do other then pray and counsling. I left yu a e-mail on the needs but, I have some good size fish bowls you can have and use till you find a big tank if you want. They have just sat around collecting dust. Let me know.

At 6:27pm on February 24, 2009, Mindy Deuel said…: Well, It is 6:15pm and I just sat dwn for the first time today. Sorry to say bu Ben had another seizure today at the docters office this afternoon. the only good thingaboutta is they callthe hospital and got the scan results read emiditly (sp). The scan was normal. Praise God. They docters thik that the seizure today was brought on by the scan, because for the scan they have to do things to prevoke (s) seizue like flashing lights. So, tomarrow he is seeing a Neorologistat Bronso. Jodie I'm so worn out. I'm sure Ben is too. Other then finding Jeff, yelling for help is scary. Anyway I will keep you informed. Mindy

Everything wet well, though the nurse and I had to onvinc Bn that everything she was going to do was not going to hurt. Now we are going to his family docoter because he is getting sick again like he did when he had his seizure. So, we are still going (2pm). It takes a week and half to get results so I'll let you know. See ya

I wanted to tell something abot Ben that happened last Friday. Him and I were at the Vet's office and he had a seizure. He fell of of the bar stool he was sitting on very stff with his back arched and his eyes rolled back in his head. He lost bladder control. 911 was called and hen they took his temp it was 99.9. We got to the hospital and his temp went to 101 so they gave him some meds to lower it but an hour later it went up to 103.4 so they gave him more meds. They did a cat scan, blood work and urine test. They found with the cat scan that he had a sinus infection and also a urine or bladder infection they didn't say. The doctor told me it was a seizure that hits kids between the ages of 2-4 and tapper off by five when their temp spikes high fast. I have two problems with that, 1. his temp never went up untill after the first the fisrt meds were given hours after the seizure, 2. he is not in the age range for him to have this type f seizure. I settled for it then but started thinking about it over the weekend and it didn't add up. We went to hisfollow up on Saturday and the doctor wants to do a brain wave test. t first I was like no, but the moe I think about the more I want to do it. So, I wanted to tell you guys because he is at th church for servise and in your guyes care. I already told Andrea so she knows. I also let his class room teachers know. He is still holding on to the temp. So I wanted you guys to know.

At 6:50pm on November 18, 2008, Mindy Deuel said…: Hi Jodi, I wanted to let you know that Ben's counsling appt. went well. He has actually asked t go again. His most recent picture dose not have daddy in it. Instead it has a heart in his place.
Cassie is having a hard time now with it. She breaks down at least twice a week. She really misses him and the way things were. She tells me all the time that she wants things to be the way they used to be with Jeff home as well. I think we have a long road ahead of us, but I tell them it will be ok. Anyway just an udate. Have a grea night. Mindy
