About Me:
we've known each other for 30 years now and have been married 28 years now! we have 5 children. One resides in heaven waiting for us to join him someday. 4 are grown and 1 we are still raising up.
My favorite prayer is in Colossians 1:9-14
9 For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; 10 that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; 11 strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy; 12 giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. 13 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, 14 in whom we have redemption through His blood,[a] the forgiveness of sins.
Hallelujah! This just floods my heart every time I read it. It totally encapsulates everything I want to pray out for my life and my children and husband and God is faithful to carry out His word!

I wished I would've had a blanket to cover him with and a mission to send him too. One that would take care of his needs. I haven't seen a sign of Christian life as of yet. It's an exciting melting pot here yes. But I walked through alleys where if I wouldn't have hel… Continue

What Culture are you relevant to?

Everyone has a sphere that God wants them to reach. We're not all called to reach the same type of people. Not all of us are called to go for the clean all american middle class people. Some of you are going to get called out of your comfort zones into peoples lives that are not what you may be comfortable being around. Jesus preached to them all.

Matthew 9:
10And it came to pass, as Jesus sat at meat in the house, behold, many publicans and sinners came and sat down with him and his disciples.… Continue

It's spelled Smeagol, with a little / over the e. I think Frodo is very dim and encourageable when it comes to Gollum. Smeagol isn't worth losing a relationship between you and your best friend--much less abandoning him! Poor Sam!
